| One of my favorite teachers was Mr. Hubert Herald. Me and Dana Clemons Fugate was almost always in his Biology class and he would give us a hard time because we were from Quicksand where he also lived. He gave us a test one time that was so hard that we refused to do it. We got sent to Mr. Fugate who was the guidance counselor back then. It was so funny. | |

| The teachers during my time at BHS were great. They expected a lot out of you and we really learned a lot. One of my favorites was Mr. Malcolm Frazier, the chemistry teacher. He just was a great person! We also had Addie Murphy,Charlotte Toler, Hubert Herald, Judy Brashear, and so many other wonderful teachers. | |
